Partnering with Pivot, I developed a social media advertising strategy designed to drive engagement and increase ticket sales to their flagship event SideBySide. As an emerging event, raising brand awareness important, but connecting awareness to ticket sales and event attendance was the ultimate goal. We used Facebook and Instagram ads to drive people to a Facebook Event where they could indicate interest, allowing us to target respondents later with further advertising.
The result was more than 540,000 impressions served, with $6.50 in ticket sales returned for every $1 spent on ads.
